Nzuko is a concept like no other. Born out of our founder Laurette’s desire to see her family feel healthy and thrive, this is a restaurant fueled by heart. Drawing influence from Laurette’s understanding of how food can make people feel, and her travels in search of new flavors and techniques, Nzuko offers the tastes of the Caribbean with the benefits of the Mediterranean diet. The idea of marrying these two seemingly disparate cultures may appear to be a stretch at first glance. The common thread, however, is their joie de vivre. Sunshine, happy people, emphasis on quality of life, and great food and drink are central to both places.

The mediterranean platter and the jerk chicken were delightful. While the location is small the environment is vibrant. We were surprised to be the only ones in the restaurant that night (Monday evening) particularly because of how good the food was. If you haven’t tried it you definitely should. The platter offered a nice variety. The salad and chicken were particularly our favorites. I enjoyed this but don’t know I would get it again. The jerk chicken was exceptional - best I’ve ever had. Full of flavor, tender and juicy. It is spicy but it offers nice flavor with heat without feeling like your mouth is on fire. we will be back!Omama Cheema2022-07-11Went out with a few friends. Awesome lighting and environment. Servers were all super nice and welcoming. Got conch fritters and Salmon with rice. Everything had great flavor and great portion. Highly recommend!Aaron Laliberte2022-06-26It would be easy to miss Nzuko if you were just driving by, but you shouldn't. We stopped in on a whim on a random Sunday and are very glad we did. First thing to know, Yelp might take you to a close, but wrong address. So unless you want to make some random friends with people at an apartment complex you may want to just look it up in Google maps. Second thing to know, you can park in the lot and the parking garage next to the restaurant. The spaces are numbered which made us think they are reserved, but they are not. The list of times I'm wrong seems to never end which I was reminded of on the long, unnecessary, walk back to the car. When you walk through the door you are greeted by a cool, chic vibe. Looking for a good place for a date night, this is it. We looked at the drink menu and trepidatiously ordered a cucumber and Hibiscus cocktail. I was afraid they would be over sweet and taste fake. The list of times I am wrong grew again. The drinks were fabulous. Refreshing and not overly sweet. A perfect sipper on a hot summer day. Many of the dishes are sharable. We got the vegetarian delight platter which came with 4 large falafels, pita bread, an assortment of hummus, or whatever the correct pluralization is (hummuses, humussi?), Grape leaves, olives, and plantains. It easily served 2 people. The falafel was moist, a nice departure from many others we've had, and packed with flavor. The grape leaves had a bright lemon zest to them and the hummus/hummuses we're delicious. The icing on top was the plantain. The owner came out to talk to us and is an incredibly interesting, sweet, and kind person. I would eat there again just for the chance to talk to her. We left Nzuko happy and full. I'd highly recommend it.Mia Distasio2022-04-26Really enjoyed this restaurant - it has a good mix of Mediterranean and Caribbean flavors and a variety of dishes! It’s also owned by a local family and I always like to support local/small businesses. The atmosphere and ambience was lovely, not too loud and really pretty decor. The service was good, employees were friendly. Will definitely be going back soon!Jennifer O2022-03-12The food was delicious and our server was great! We had the Mediterranean platter and conch fritters. Everything was really fresh and flavorful and the portions were large. I would definitely come back here.Wendy Rocca2022-02-26Super interesting food. Excellent service. Manager Khaldoon was very helpful explaining the different dishes. Abundant servings- fresh, healthy and flavorful. A must try!Jerry Chu2022-01-13Ordered a jerk chicken and chicken kabob dinner and realized price here is significantly higher than the Framingham location. The bill was $55 just two dinner platters. I’m all for paying for quality food and I really wanted to like this place and give a good review. However the chicken was not fresh unless it was just overcooked. Jerk chicken was tasty but some parts of it was dried up like jerky. The kabob was a lot dryer and I hate a hard time downing it. The positives were the rice that it came with it was nicely seasoned and flavorful.
